Bluejay Is Now Open To Everyone !

Welcome back to The Bluejay Times !
Today, Bluejay goes self serve. Now, anyone can access world-class voice and chat evals for free without having to enter a credit card.
To celebrate our self serve launch, we are announcing the Voice Agent Bounty. We’ve built three voice AI agents, each containing three of the most common issues that we’ve found in production.
The first person to find all three issues can win up to $6,000! Learn more at getbluejay.ai/debug.
This week, we will be releasing a series of videos in an effort to help educate the community on testing best practices. Stay tuned!
Oh, and enjoy a celebratory froyo on us this week :)

For a long time, serious voice AI testing was something only enterprise teams could access. Not because the technology was not there, but because getting to it required a sales process, a contract, and weeks of back and forth before you could run your first simulation.
A solo developer building their first voice agent does not have weeks. They have a weekend and a deadline.
That has always felt wrong to us. The quality of your testing should not depend on the size of your company or whether you have a procurement team. A developer shipping their first agent deserves the same access to rigorous evals as a Fortune 500 team does. The stakes are just as real. A voice agent that fails in production is a voice agent that fails in production, whether it is handling ten calls a day or ten thousand.
Bluejay is now self-serve. You sign up, add credits, connect your agent, and start testing. No sales call, no contract, no waiting. Pay as you go for what you use, or pick a monthly plan that fits where you are. The same platform that teams at Google and DoorDash use to run simulations, catch failures before customers do, and monitor production calls around the clock is now available to anyone building a voice agent, from day one.
If you are building a voice agent, Bluejay is now for you. Go try it at getbluejay.ai !
As a recap:
- Bluejay is a testing and monitoring platform for Conversational AI agents. Companies ranging from Fortune 10 enterprises to fast-growth startups in the Silicon Valley use Bluejay to make sure their voice and text agents work in production (monitoring) and development (testing) environments.
- Our team, now ten strong, works around the clock to make sure your agent behaves when talking to customers.
- This newsletter is 100% human written. It always has been, and it always will be. Ask yourself about what you are consuming. If the writer hasn't read it, why should you?
Give Humanity the tools to trust Artificial Intelligence.

Behind the Build
Engineering shipped:
Big week for the engineering team. Here is what shipped:
- Multimodal Customer Journeys are now live. You can now build one journey that flows across a voice call and SMS, with per-step success criteria and guardrails that keep the conversation on track.
- Every call now gets an Audio Clarity score from 0 to 100 tracking intelligibility, noise, muffle, and clipping, surfaced directly in your logs, simulations, and dashboards.
- A brand new trace view is live with a per-leg latency timeline so you can see exactly where time goes in every conversation.
- Bluejay Bug Bounty is now live. New sign-ups get CTF challenge agents seeded automatically so you can start red-teaming on day one.
Feature Spotlight:
Customer Journeys launched a few weeks ago with a simple idea. Real customers do not call once. They book, reschedule, cancel. One digital human, multiple calls, full context carried across every step.
Multimodal Customer Journeys lets you build one journey that flows across a voice call and SMS together. The same digital human that called your agent can now send a follow up text, and your agent is expected to know who they are and what they already talked about. Per-step success criteria and guardrails keep the conversation on track across both legs, with automatic handling for things like voicemail and back-to-back messages.
If your agent is supposed to work across channels, now you can actually test whether it does.
Give it a try on your next simulation and let us know what you think!
That's all for now. I'll see you next time!
